Founded in 2017, The Gujarati Community of Queensland is a not-for-profit organisation formed to promote and preserve Indian Culture and Festivals in Queensland and Australia.
On Saturday 26th October 2019, the Community is hosting BUPA Diwali Dhamaka 2019 at the Unidus Community Centre from 3.30 to 8.30pm. Diwali or Festival of Lights is the most celebrated of all Hindu Festivals held over a five-day period commemorating the victory of good over evil and light over darkness.
There will be live performances on stage, Rangoli, Mehandi, kid's workshops, stalls, prizes, delicious Indian food, heaps of fun activities and Diwali Fireworks. Entry is FREE, however, to cater for numbers please go to Eventbrite and nominate your attendance.
This will certainly be one of the most joyous and colourful events you will attend this year. It's an event the whole family can enjoy. Address for the Unidus Community Centre is 204 Sherbrooke Rd, Willawong.
