If you're looking for something entertaining for your kids to do during the school holidays, then Bunnings Warehouse Mile End has you sorted. Throughout the entire holiday break, the Mile End store will be hosting a range of different workshops for children.
The Bunnings staff will teach and assist the children as they design and create their very own pieces of equipment and art. The workshops will be productive and informative. Because of the fun nature, your kids won't even realise they are learning.
The October School Holiday Program Schedule will run as follows: Tuesday 4th October, 11am-2pm: Woodwork Creating birdhouses out of timber and engraving on wood.
Wednesday 5th October, 11am-2pm: Jewellery Making Creating their own earrings and bracelets.
Thursday 6th October, 11am-1pm: Origami Making Learning the art of paper folding and experimenting with origami.
Friday 7th October, 11am-2pm: Steam Punk Art Making art with nuts, bolts, keys and other materials.
Monday 10th October, 11am-2pm: Mini Fairy Garden Creating a tiny garden for fairies using plant herbs.
Tuesday 11th October, 11am-2pm: Board Game Designing and creating a snakes & ladders or checkers board game.
Wednesday 12th October, 11am-2pm: Mosaic Mirrors Making a hanging mirror with a mosaic border.
Thursday 13th October, 11am-2pm: Fridge Magnet Designing and making a fridge magnet out of air clay.
Friday 14th October, 11am-2pm: Robotic Animal Learning about moving parts and making a robotic animal.
Booking for a workshop is vital to ensure a spot for your child. You can easily make a booking online at the Bunnings Mile End website. Parents are welcome to stay for the workshops, however the children are very safe in the hands of the helpful Bunnings staff.
