Impromptu adventuring, exploring our backyard and then putting pen to paper, hoping to entice you to try one, if not all, of our escapades, is my true reward!

Who doesn’t love Bunnings?
Whenever my hubby mentions the 'B' word I usually go and find myself a corner to hide in - really, it's one of my least favourite places, and he usually has to carry me in, kicking and screaming - Bunnings staff probably think 'who let HER out?'!
Once I venture inside though, I am always over-awed by the 'immense-ness' of Bunnings, the cleanliness, the variety and the incredible friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff - no matter how busy, they will always stop to assist you.
One needs roller blades to get from 'A' to 'B'
The variety in Bunnings makes me feel like a kid in a Candy Store:- Tools, Colour Matching in the Paint Section, D.I.Y. Workshops (for those like me, who really have no idea), Trailer Hire (perfect to dissuade hubby from installing a Tow bar on his car at huge expense), Kids Activities, In-store Gas Swap, Gift Cards (for those very discerning family members that have everything else), and you can even have your keys cut while you wait. If you can't find what you're looking for, Bunnings offers 'Special Orders' for those rare items that they don't have stock of.
I love the Rainbow colours
As you can imagine, I'm not interested in the 'boy's stuff', so usually wander off on my own to look at what interests me; the plant nursery, outdoor furniture or even a quick stop for coffee at their own Coffee Shop.
With the wonderful winter we're experiencing on the Sunshine Coast at the moment, Bunnings is the ideal one-stop shop for the whole family, to get all your bits 'n pieces together for all those maintenance jobs at home that have been left unattended during the summer months.
Pretty winter flowers to brighten even the dullest of days
They're open seven days a week, so there's really no excuse. So tell me, who else loves Bunnings as much as I do?
