Located in the heart of the Royal National Park, offers breathtaking scenic views!



is an easy wheelchair-accessible 30-minute return walk, making it a perfect leisurely day out with picturesque surroundings and opportunities for picnics and birdwatching.



The smooth and mostly flat concrete path is a pleasant walk that winds gently down through bushland to the ridgetop and to the scenic platform lookout, where panorama views of Hacking River and surroundings can be admired.



The short walk also meanders through the lush forest, passing through the beautiful Angophora tree on a rock and surrounding hills that can be seen through the trees.



Along the track do keep an eye out for birds, including the yellow-tailed cockatoos and lorikeets feasting in the banksias.



Nearby, Reids Flat Picnic Area can be found, where a relaxing and tranquil picnic or rest can be enjoyed after the short walk to .



The walk begins at the Area Office Carpark, passing through a quiet picnic area. There is a sign with an arrow pointing to the walk and lookout.



There are plenty of bench seats along the pathway to the lookout and bench seats are available at the lookout platform as well as handrails along the pathway.

There are plenty of car park spaces at the Area Office Carpark. The lookout is free, however, there is a $12 per vehicle entry fee into the Royal National Park.
