I like to participate in life rather than be a spectator. Music, dancing, theatre, travelling, food, cycling and walking are some of my passions. Writing is an enjoyable pastime that allows me to share my experiences.

Bungarribee Park is a great place for family fun. This 200 hectare section of Western Sydney Parklands is home to a large off-leash dog area (The Warrigal Dog Run) picnic areas, tracks, trails and a couple of fantastic playgrounds. Children of all ages are sure to have fun in the adventure play areas which include a 14m-high climbing tower, long tunnel slides, a 50m-long flying fox, a variety of swings and a large sand/water play area.

The various picnic shelters and barbecue areas can be seen on the map. Walking and cycling for all ages and abilities is well-catered with up to 60km of interconnecting pathways. At the present time, it is quite open with only a couple of pockets of natural bushland but there has been a program of tree planting and regeneration.

There are two large parking areas and garbages, drinking water and sparkling clean toilet blocks are scattered throughout the park. If you are looking for a coffee or something to eat you can't go past Stallion Burgers which is located near Warrigal Dog Run and is the only food outlet in the park.

Those play areas do look spectacular; I'm sure they are very popular with the kids.
