Just out of Bunbury on Washington Avenue is Bunbury Village Holiday Park. This caravan park has A-Frame cottages, chalets, caravan and tent sites for hire.

The kids are well catered for here at this caravan park. It is well equipped with a refreshing swimming pool with spa, a mini golf course, a playground, a jumping pillow and even a games room that has a table tennis, a pool table and a skill tester machine. If that's not enough there are also pedal carts for hire.

There is a large open space for kids to set up a cricket game or a game of footy. A great palce for kids to mingle and get to know each other.

The caravan park is set out like a little city, with paved streets which are perfect for exploring the park with a bike and a scooter.

The camp kitchen is large and well maintained with 3 bbqs, ample picnic tables and chairs and also a little room with an indoor table, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge and tv. Behind the the camp kitchen is the kitchen sink.

There is also a laundry for longer stays or for rinsing any clothing out. There are ample clotheslines to hang out the wet clothes on.

One note of caution though. We booked our accommodation online, it said we had to book a minimum 4 nights. We only wanted to stay for 2. We specified in the comments that we had a huge tent. When we got here, the tent didn't fit in the space provided so we were upgraded from an unpowered site to a powered ensuite site.

Unfortunately the site they gave us was a concrete pad and so we had to shift again. After speaking to the staff, they said that was the major problem with the online bookings and if we had called them they could have sorted it out before we arrived.

They were even surprised that we paid for four nights (as instructed by the online booking system) and we were only going to stay for two. Another thing that may have been rectified if we had called instead of doing the online thing.

The stay here is comfortable but it doesn't feel like a you are at a campground as it is more like a little city. There are trees but no bushes. This park is definitely more for the modern camper rather than the ones who are looking for a bush getaway
