Bulimba Riverside Park for Dogs

It is always nice to get out of the house on the weekend and visit the local park. Brisbane's climate is certainly conducive to being outdoors, and we are lucky in our city to have numerous parks with great facilities for the kids and the not so young "kids at heart".

Many of us have pets, and of course the most popular pet is everyone's best friend, the dog. So, when you go to the park, Freddie the dog would probably like to come along also. And, in many parts of Brisbane he can do. There are one hundred and twenty off-leash dog parks in Brisbane, and many of these are adjacent to parks for people.

One such park is on Brisbane's east side at Bulimba.

For the people, it has electric barbeques, a picnic area, a kid's playground, taps and toilet facilities. Being adjacent to the Brisbane River there are also fishing facilities.

However, for our four-legged furry friends there is an off-leash dog park in addition.
