Win Lego, stay sane and keep the kids amused on holidays
Museum of Brisbane, school holiday activities, city hall, what's on brisbane easter

Now is your chance to get creative in City Hall.

The Museum of Brisbane is running a Build Your City Lego Workshop from 26 March through to 10 April 2016. The workshop is open from 10am to 4pm and entry is free.

What a great initiative to keep the children amused over the school holidays. Mountains of Lego to keep even the most hard to please child entertained.

The Museum invites children aged 4 to 15 years to be creative and construct a new landmark for the Brisbane skyline.

Budding Architects and Lego extraordinaires can come along and be inspired by the new and upcoming architectural models of buildings destined for Brisbane and its nine Sister Cities. Use that inspiration to get creative and ingenious in constructing a Lego model landmark for the Brisbane skyline. Kids can use their imagination to create a stylish and innovative Lego design.

Once created, they can enter their landmark into the competition being run by the Museum for a chance to win a special LEGO™ prize pack valued over $270.00.

Kids should create their Lego building in the designated area and have a photo taken of it by the Museum staff. The photo is the entry. Note that the actual creations must be left in the Museum, children do not leave with any Lego.

The Museum of Brisbane is at Level 3, City Hall, Adelaide Street, Brisbane. While you're there, take the children on an adventure to see what else City Hall has to offer such as a tour of the Clock Tower and the history of the Brisbane River. City Hall is within walking distance of Central Train Station and has many buses that run past or near it.
