Bugs Bunny, the Looney Tunes 'Wascally Wabbit', is returning to Sydney with his cartoon friends and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra to perform the classic music from the cartoons as the action is projected at the Sydney Opera House in July.



Since 1930, Looney Tunes cartoons have been one of our most loved television programs, enjoyed by children and adults alike. The hilarious antics of these quirky characters, including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, the cat and mouse opponents - Tom and Jerry, and the bumbling hunter, Elmer Fudd, channel the style of Hollywood's Golden Age comedians, especially the Three Stooges, Charlie Chaplin and Jerry Lewis.

Looney Tunes are also an introduction for many children to the beautiful melodies of classical music, the compelling art of opera and the adventurous tales from famous films. The Rabbit of Seville, Show Biz Bugs and Robin Hood Daffy have been played and replayed regularly in Australian homes and we can now enjoy those creations live in Sydney.



The most popular Looney Tunes cartoons and 2 brand-new 3D cartoons will be broadcast at the Sydney Opera House as our Sydney Symphony Orchestra performs the soundtrack live.
