A Buffet Breakfast is a treat that many people like to enjoy. Whether you are staying at a hotel and it is part of the package, having a family celebration or perhaps it is just the perfect way to start a big day. Whatever the reason - and even if there isn't one - there is a good selection of Buffet Breakfasts to be enjoyed around the city. These days there is often a chef on hand to cook up eggs just the way you like it or to whip up a breakfast masterpiece in front of you. For healthier options there are also juicer stations, smoothie makers and a larger range of fruits and cereals to start the day on a lighter note.
Although the Buffet Breakfasts on this list are all located at hotel restaurants, I have contacted them to ensure they are happy to welcome Canberra locals as well as hotel guests.

Wherever you visit around Canberra, a Buffet Breakfast is an enjoyable way to start the day and make you feel like you are on holiday - in your own city. We are fortunate here in Canberra to also have such a huge variety of quality breakfast cafes to choose from, however if you are after something more substantial, the buffet breakfast is a popular option.
It also doesn't have to be a calorie-laden breakfast to be able to enjoy the meal with friends - the healthy options look equally as delicious. Where will you try out this weekend?
