If you're looking for something relaxing, like a picnic spot and weekend exercise at your leisure, than Buderim Forest Park Waterfall is the place to go.

I discovered the walk, which isn't at all exhausting, on an exploring trip. With its magnificent brooks and waterfalls it is fantastically quiet, with heaps of spots to chill (the water is freezing by the way).

It is a great way to take in the lovely surroundings of the rainforest.

There are two main waterfall sites, with access to the stream all the way to its end and there are two tracks of varying difficulty. Along the tracks are great spots for private picnics.

Plus being just out of Buderim, it is a super easy site to find.

This is a great place to visit. We have young children and the walk wasn't too long or hard for them and there were plenty of shallow rock pools for them to explore.
