Buderim Craft Cottage is a community haven for crafts and hobbies of every kind, of connections, exhibitions and so much more. This rather large well-equipped hub is right next to the Buderim Library and their car park boasts majestic views down the coast.

The Atrium Gallery is open daily from 10am - 2pm with free frequently changing exhibitions, please check out their website for the current ones. This not for profit organisation that started in 1967 and moved to their current premises in 1974 – so very well-established, friendly and highly regarded amongst the various artists that I have met here on the coast.

It comprises of twelve groups with over 300 very active members, frequent exhibitions and the infrastructure to undertake the craft of your choice. There are calligraphers, fabric art, life drawing, machine embroidery, mixed and multi-media, needlework, painters, patchwork, porcelain painters, pottery [with wheels and kilns], silversmiths and yarns and fibres.

So whether you are an experienced craftsperson or interested in learning this community hub is the place for inspiration to expand your own crafty talents. And for those not so dedicated you can visit for free and enjoy the colourful exhibitions where the chatter from the workshops will assure you that this is a busy joyful hub.
