Excelling in taste and quality
Bucks Bakery is located in the rural town of Landsborough, just opposite the railway station. It is a great place to stop for coffee, savoury scrumptious pies and decadent cakes.
Bucks Bakery operates in a heritage-listed building and offers a bountiful display of sweets, pastries and pies. The building looks like a house with a lovely verandah, tables and benches.
Make your order, sit down and relax with your cup of coffee, a sweet and a pie, or maybe both! Dietary requirements such as gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan are catered for. Because it is required to have a special licence, the gluten-free items are brought in from another bakery. Also, the vegan food items are made in a specialised bakery to guarantee the purity of the ingredients. All the rest of the food, including vegetarian pies, are made on the premises.
The bakery attracts visitors from everywhere, besides providing daily fresh bread for the locals. It is a great opportunity to stock up with fresh bread, pies and cakes.
Every time I hike with the Group Hiking South East Qld and More in Dularcha National Park, I stop at Bucks Bakery. It is a joyful experience choosing a sweet or a pie to have with a great coffee.
The group takes a seat in the roomy verandah, enjoying all the bakery goodies and drinks. The atmosphere is relaxing and the ambiance is charming and lovely. The hikers are always satisfied with the quality of the food, price and overall experience. Many hikers also buy goodies to take home to enjoy later at dinner with family or friends.
The owners, Tim and Paula, have been running the bakery for over seven years, offering great products and consistent quality to the customers. The bakery is very popular and sometimes you have to wait to have a seat.
