This bakery is extremely popular with both locals and regular visitors to the area. Being across the road from the station also makes it easily accessible to commuters.
Bucks is located in a Heritage-listed building at 26 Cribb St Landsborough. ph (07) 54941944. They open at 6am, seven days a week. There is plenty of parking and an extra serving counter opening onto the footpath. Their alfresco dining area is very pleasant for casual dining with friends or alone and wheelchair friendly.
When you have to stand in a queue to get served you know you are at a very popular eating house. That happened to me when I stopped by one weekend. There were so many people waiting I nearly changed my mind.
They bake a large range of speciality bread with my favourite being the beetroot cob loaf. Their pies cater to all tastes. Being a vegan I know I have a choice. There is a delicious range of cakes to go with your hot or cold drink of choice.
