A dark comedy about love and buckets

'Love' and 'buckets' are not two words you would expect to hear when reading about an upcoming play. However, this new story from Sarah Collins has both those things and with the help of a life-size bucket dreamgirl, this is a joyous yet heartbreakingly dark comedic theatre piece.

When Sarah met a man in pub who introduced himself as not only a bucket salesman but a man who loved buckets, she knew she was in for a fantastic story. As he continued, she discovered when he finished bucket-selling for the day, he would moonlight as a wedding DJ and in a final twist of the story, he confided in Sarah that he in fact loved love. This man's obsession with an otherwise overlooked possession and his joy when seeing a couple tie the knot and watching their love for one another is the basis for this new show.

With voice-over, physical theatre and puppetry Bucket's List is a dark but hilarious performance by comedian/actor/writer Justin Kennedy and directed by Yvonne Virsik. Sarah is a real talent and her unusual storytelling style will keep you on the edge of your seat through a rollercoaster of emotions. You will love the man who loves buckets by the end of this performance and you may even love love a little more.
