Times ticking on, you get to thinking in Melbourne that you have started to get older and begin thinking about things that you could do that you had never before experienced in this wonderful city

Some suggestions are for those with very deep pockets, others will be free and all will be amazing experiences.

So if you have not yet had the chance to create your own bucket list I am here to give you some great ideas. Whether you live here or are a visitor to Melbourne and looking for some fun things to do there is sure to be some great activities here for you.

Begin by  celebrating in style with an overnight stay at the lake-house in Daylesford - our famous spa country.

Make out at our original "lovers lane" situation high above the world at Mt Dandenongs Lookout.

Ride a skateboard through the treetops, true - you really can and its all pretty safe too at Belgraves - trees adventure.

Get your gut churning with some aerial tricks in a jet fighter.

Perhaps not really the things of bucket lists but definitely worthwhile is a visit to the Queen Victoria Market. Perhaps you might like to take the foodies dream tour. Sample your way through the biggest market in the southern hemisphere and not only that - you get to eat and drink like a local.

If theatre is your thing, Melbourne is home to some of the most elegant theatres. Choose from four of the main ones, even a Spanish rococo room for the ultimate VIP food and wine experience.

Embrace more than 20 million years of history by taking a drive through Victorian rugged coastline. Thanks for including our Harley Rides on your list Lesley. We have taken quite a few people out over the years, most who would have never considered the idea, and put a huge smile on their faces. Most people we take out quickly discover that it is nothing like the imagined it would - its much more comfortable, you don't need to hang on tight, and its completely safe!

Half of these things aren't even in Melbourne. Maybe "Melbourne & Surrounds" or "Victoria" might be better?
