The Happy Motel present this pop up ramen bar
From the team that brought you the intriguing blend of Mex-Italian at one of their Alpha Box & Dice pop up, and served up juicy kranskies at Tasty Hots in Lola's Pergola, comes Bubby Noodle--ramen like Adelaide hasn't seen before.

Andy Nowell is one of the chefs behind the Happy Motel--known for their epilepsy inducing website, great food, and festive food parties that you'll never forget. Andy has just spent 6-weeks eating through Japan, and he's bringing his new-found noodle knowledge back to Adelaide.

Bubby Noodle is happening at Botanic Bar, on the corner of East and North Terrace. There will be Japanese beer specials and DJs from 4pm, and the noodles start at 6pm. Expect delicious umami broths, slurpy noodles, and jammy eggs.

It's no secret that Adelaide is lacking when it comes to decent Ramen joints. The city might be home to newly opened Ryo's Noodles, but other than that, the situation is pretty dire. Bubby Noodles might only be running for your night, but it's your change to get some slurp-worthy ramen that will have you dreaming of Japan.

To keep up to date with future events featuring the team behind the Happy Motel make sure you like them on Facebook.

If a warming bowl of Ramen gets you in the mood, check out AsiaFest happening the following weekend across the road in Rymill Park. There will be a 'Japan' section featuring food and entertainment from Japan, as well as other localised areas highlighting China, Vietnam, Thailand, Korea, and more.
