If I had to choose a favourite place here in Adelaide, I think my mind would race to say BTS cafe on Gouger Street. This adorable little cafe boasts of pure girly delight, the walls are covered with pink, the ceilings hold many beautiful chandeliers and last but not least the cafe is dedicated to nothing else but CUPCAKES. What else could a foodie at heart want?

As to the details of the place, the cafe sits comfortably on Gouger Street (there is also another one on Pirie Street that I am yet to visit), it is a quiet little place and I would say that unless you knew where you were going it is easily lost against the hustle and bustle of the city and Central Market. Though if you are in the city, don't miss it.

Now to get to the important part: THE CUPCAKES

As you walk in, there's a display of cupcakes in a glass cabinet and a menu board on the opposite side. Once you finish drooling over the array of cupcakes in front of you, you order at the counter, take your cupcake, sit down and wait for the drinks you ordered. The cupcakes are quite pricey but don't be alarmed, they are well worth the price.

Our choices of cupcakes- Top left to Right- Two baby cupcakes for $2.10 each or $3.95 for both, Vanilla Buttercream, Scarlett, Mr Big $4.30 each (if memory serves me right)

The four of us girls choose the cupcakes above and I was lucky enough to share with one of girls, this is something I recommend doing where ever you go. Instead of getting to taste just the one (or maybe two if you can handle it) cupcakes, share with friends, that way you get a bite of everything.

Anyway, me and a friend shared the vanilla buttercream and Mr. Big cupcakes. The vanilla buttercream was amazing, light, fluffy, vanillery (if that is even a word) and delightful to eat. Mr. Big was the naughty cousin of the vanilla buttercream cupcake, it had all the components of the vanilla cupcake of being light and fluffy but was also rich, sinful and super chocolatey. If you visit, I RECOMMEND THESE TWO CUPCAKES 100%.

Now to wash down these delights a girl needs to have a drink, I choose a mug of cappuccino for I believe $4 or so and my aquintances choose a teapot of apricot green tea, frappe and a latte. The cappuccino was quite strong, but it balanced out the sweetness of the cupcakes and I have to say the price is worth it, I could barely finish the cup, but if you're not a strong coffee lover, might I suggest some tea. They come in these adorable pots and they have a wide selection

The apricot green tea my friend got was amazing, it had a really sweet and delicate flavour.

Our beautiful coffees- Mug of Cappuccino and a cup of latte.

How cute is the teapot!!!!

Overall, BTS is a 10/10. The customer service is wonderful, the food and drinks are amazing and it is a great place for a girls day out.

P.S. Gentlemen with Valentine's day a few months away, why not get your lady a box of BTS cupcakes, I believe they do 5 cupcakes for $19.95, you will for sure have the best present out.
