The famous Bridge Road Brewers Oktoberfest comes to Melbourne! Their annual celebration of Bavarian bier culture debuts at their East Brunswick brewery.

If you have not visited Bridge Road Brewers yet, it's a split-level, U-shaped brewery on Nicholson Street in Brunswick East with a slick interior decked out in vibrant colours. But it's also a working brewery, with shiny tanks and fermenters on show and a great mix of beers, new and old, running through its 30-tap lines.



Opened late last year, this venue has a 300+ seat brewery and a dining hall.

Yes, it's related to Beechworth's popular Bridge Road Brewers, established by Ben Kraus and his wife Maria in 2005. In Beechworth, they have been running their famous Oktoberfest for twenty years.



This will be their first one In Melbourne. Still, just like the 20-year-running event in Beechworth, this will be an authentic experience based on the legendary revelry of the Oktoberfest held in Munich each year.

Expect an authentic experience with a traditional OhmPah band, many attendees in costume and beer brewed especially for the occasion.

As is the tradition in Munich, Bridge Road Brewers craft a Marzen, or Oktoberfest beer, more than two months ahead of the event. This allows the beer to age or 'lager' in the tank for a prolonged period, resulting in a smooth, malty lager, perfect for such an important celebration.



Tickets include a take-home 1L glass stein (with its first fill), an authentic German feast and live entertainment.

This is as close as you will get to the real thing without the plane ticket to Germany.



The brewery will also pour traditional Oktoberfest beers from Co-Conspirators Brewing Company, Foreigner Brewing Company, Inner North Brewing Company, and Gales Brewing Company.
