On the first Saturday of every month sleepy Brunswick Heads awakes to the buzz of people, lots of chatter and beautiful scenery. set on the banks of the Brunswick River the
Brunswick Heads Market has grown in size and has become incredibly popular with locals and visitors, a morning meeting place to catch up, grab a coffee, try and sample some local wares and explore the fabulous market items.
I love coming to these markets and I have been lucky to time it perfectly with camping that it so happens to be the first weekend of the month, just by coincidence as in writing this article I found out it was the first Saturday of the month.
There is so much something here for everyone from candles, jewellery, plants, unique gifts, toys, second hand treasures to great local produce, I love the
Honey Wagon stall, honey here is made locally at Newrybar; who can beat butter and honey on toast! And if you are looking for the perfect gift for coffee lovers. I found the most awesome stall,
Coast Cold Brew Coffee. Check it out and arouse the senses.

There is also an amazing selection of clothes stalls, original, boutique and second hand. I was amazed at the variety to choose from beautiful dresses, unique skirts, in fact, a clotheshorse's heaven.

Great stalls, great clothes

The
Brunswick Heads Monthly Market is held in the
Memorial Park on the first Saturday of each month. The market is located on the riverbank, and is within easy walking distance of the cafes and shops. Why not make a day of it, take in the markets, head across to the Brunswick Hotel for a great lunch or pack a picnic lunch and enjoy a laid-back, relaxing day on the river.
Brunswick Heads, the best spot to be.
