The Yarra Valley Chocolaterie just keeps bringing it! First, there's the Rocky Road Festival, currently on for the whole month of May, and next up - the Brownie Festival from Thursday 10 to Sunday 27 June 2021. All 18 limited edition brownie flavours will be available to enjoy in the café as well as tasting plates and other delicious brownie inspired desserts, ice creams and beverages. No reservations required to dine-in.
The brownies and tasting boxes can be purchased in the showroom to take home as a treat for later. Brownie Festival fans will love the Ultimate Brownie Festival Tasting Sessions. In this 45 minute session, you will begin by creating your own signature brownie to take home. Whilst this is baking in the oven, you will sample 6 sensational Brownie Bites and other goodies. Sessions (45 min sessions) are hosted Friday - Sundays during the Festival at $24 per person. Children welcome if accompanied by adults. Bookings are essential via the Classes page.
The Chocolaterie runs events throughout the year for adults and children alike. Sweets are not all they do. Their newly renovated café has an amazing menu for breakfast, brunch, lunch and desserts and hand-stretched stone-baked pizzas with gluten-free options on request. There's even a kids menu, which means you're not paying adult size prices. The café awaits to tempt you with a host of savoury and sweet items.
Imagine a biggie brekky Chocolaterie style with a choice of eggs, maple smoked bacon, pork and fennel sausage, roasted mushrooms, confit tomato, hash brown, and sourdough served until 12pm. Brunch dishes are served all day. If you haven't tried it before, after a savoury meal, take home a sweet pack like their Bush Tucker Collection of chocolates. The Chocolatiers have worked on intriguing combinations with native ingredients and couverture chocolate for the most delectable results. Be sure to discover it on your next visit!
