Come along a catch the seaside markets
Port Broughton is a small South Australian town 175 kms north-west of Adelaide and 58 kms from both Port Pirie and Kadina; right at the top of the Yorke Peninsula on the east coast of the Spencer Gulf.
A popular seaside town, Port Broughton is a great place to while away time watching the pelicans or dolphins or just simply watching the sun go down. As a fishing community, seafood is plentiful and it's a great place to stop on your road trip and relax.
I love nothing better than hopping in the car and going for a long drive, and if you are the same but like there to be a treat at the end, then the Broughton Seaside Markets will be the perfect destination this Easter.
To be held on the Port Broughton foreshore on Saturday 31 March 2018 from 10 am, the Broughton Seaside Markets will get you there and keep you there for a day of wonderful market fun.
There will be over 40 stalls with food, drinks, handcrafts and face painting. Choose from Sandra's Biscuits with 17 different varieties, Alison's Death by Chocolate Treats will have cakes, chocolate éclairs and all sorts of goodies, or maybe get some fairy floss from the Fairy Floss Queens.
Vibrant Ray will be there will handmade clay, wooden and silicone jewellery, Pablos Daughter will have unique paper flowers and Bubblegum Goodies will have mummy and me jewellery sets. There will be so much to choose from.
Hang around after the markets though, as the free Port Broughton Outdoor Cinema will commence at 8 pm, with the movie HOP showing. There is a whisper that the Easter Bunny will be dropping by with gifts for the little ones.
