View vintage and classic cars, trucks, tractors, machinery, military vehicles, engines and motorbikes at Brookton's "Best of British" themed, family friendly motor show.



Who remembers this car? It was built in Britain from 1959 until late 1967, the Austin-Healey 3000 is the best-known vehicle of the "Big Healey" models.

It was made alongside other British classics like the M.G. models, the Austin-Healey 3000, which were assembled at British Motor Corporations' Abingdon Works.

T& #65279 ;he is a biennial show that encourages the "restoration, preservation and display of vintage vehicles and machines in a non-competitive environment".

It will be held on Saturday 24th March, 2018 at Brookton Oval and WB EVA Pavillion, Brookton.



The started in the year 1981, so has been going now for some time. During the years, it has built a significant reputation amongst the vintage motoring industry. This show is now a top quality show that regularly sees over 4000 people attend on the 4th Saturday in March, every second year.



The is much more than just a classic car show, because it invites owners of machines of all varieties to participate in this event.



The vehicles will range in age, enveloping all of the vintage, veteran and classic motoring categories. One of the unique aspects of this show is the Grand Parades, which all vehicles are asked to participate in, so that visitors can truly see and appreciate these vehicles, and the amount of work that goes into them.



Every two years the show has a new theme, and this next show theme is "Best of British, Pistons & Polish". You can find out more about the theme, by checking out the video below.

The show is held on the weekend and is a fun family show with heaps of things for children of all ages to do. There is also a "family interest tent" with a large variety of market stalls to browse through.



In the late afternoon and at night, there will be a band entertaining the audience while they sit or stand around the bar, and enjoy a fabulous wood-fired pizza.

They will also have an amazing drawing wall on display, for young and old to be creative at the 2018 This will be life-sized colouring to soothe and relax your mind.

Some of the activities for children include fun, "belly aching laughs" and nostalgia all in one! They can be in a fun space where they can be as silly as they want and let vintage photobooths snap each moment of madness!

There will be a roaming Balloon Artist who will wander around the show between 11.00 am and 2.00 pm. The balloon artist will be making amazing balloon creations for you - so don't miss watching this fascinating artist in action.

This year, there will be a new event - Scitech - New Science Shows. This will be in addition to ten interactive science exhibits for you to explore. There will be live science shows running for 30 minutes at different times throughout the day.

You will learn all about the power of tiny bubbles, giant bubbles and even get to set some on fire while exploring the scientific properties of bubbles!

You can soar through the science of flying as you see how to battle gravity, drag and the laws of physics to fly balloons, aeroplanes and rockets.

Brookton is about 135 kms from the Perth metropolitan area, and is an easy one and a half hour drive from Perth, making it accessible if you want to go there and back in a day.

It is a small town with a population of more than 1000, and has many excellent facilities including 20 hectares of parks and gardens.
