The Atwell Arcade in Fremantle has been home to many hidden treasure troves over the years. However, none are more charming and delightful than Broken Doll, a vintage and retro wares shop, sitting pretty in the centre of the Arcade.
Walking into the lovely little store feels like you have just stepped into a scene from a timelessly stylish period drama.
From the vintage 50's brooches and blouses, to the wild patterns and shoulder pads of the 80's, it seems Broken Doll have managed to bring out the very best in every retro fashion era.
And as if the immensely tantalising clothes, jewellery, homewares and adorable accessories aren't already tempting enough, Broken Doll also offers costume hire, alterations, personal dressmaking and even sewing lessons.
Broken Doll is located at 9 Atwell Arcade, Cantonment Street, Fremantle. They are open Tuesday to Sunday, from 11am to 5pm. So the next time you're visiting Fremantle, it would be well worth your while to have a peek at this darling boutique.
