Having migrated from Melbourne to the Mornington Peninsula I am enjoying the best of both worlds
Published August 23rd 2011
If you love to lose yourself in the past, whether it's sentimental memories of visiting your Grandparents, or scenes from your favourite old movie, the newly opened Broadway Bazaar Vintage & Retro Emporium in Rosebud is the place to go. I have recollections of visiting relatives in Rosebud; vinyl and chrome kitchen settings, bakerlite accessories, velvet lampshades. I could go on. The memories came flooding back when I stepped inside the Bazaar.

A little bit of Retro at the Broadway Bazaar
a treasure trove of nostalgia

The glamour of the 30's and 40's is so popular right now, I wonder why it ever left. Thanks to Television shows like Mad Men, we are reminded of a time when men made an effort to look dapper and women glamourous.

Some vintage glamour

At the Broadway Bazaar you can find vintage handbags, dresses, gloves, or a special something to take you on a nostalgic trip through time, when life was a little slower and more gracious.

The Broadway Bazaar is situated in the iconic Art Deco style Broadway Theatre on the beach end of Rosebud Parade. You can enter on Rosebud Parade or through Flicks Cafe on Nepean Hwy.
