BrisSUP presents 'PUPS on SUPS'

Surf's up, puppers! Today, we're introducing an event to kick-start your planning for 2018! This event is proudly brought to you by the BrisSUP club , a well-established group that meets regularly at different Moreton Bay or waterway locations right across Brisbane and its surrounding areas for social paddles. These industry professionals have designed 'PUPS on SUPS 2018' to cater to all of the community - for you, your friends, your family, and of course, your furry best mate!

The event will take place on Saturday, 20th January 2018 from 9am to 11am. That's two whole hours of fun in the sun by the water, for the whole family! Held at Raby Bay Dog Beach, an off-leash dog area that has proved to be popular with locals, it's time to get your sun-safe gear out in preparation for a great day ahead. And yes, there's plenty of parking available!

All are invited to participate in the races, regardless of experience level - that includes first timers if you're feeling particularly brave!



There are fabulous prizes to be won for both you and your dog!



If you don't want to participate in the races, and perhaps might prefer to sit back and observe, you can also enjoy a snag from the sausage sizzle on site, some caffeine from the coffee van, and browse the many stalls that will be set up with all your favourite pet supplies and goodies.

PUPS on SUPS also incorporates BrisSUP's annual sign on day, with lots of club members available on site to help you and your pup with tips if needed. There will also be special club membership offers available on the day. So whether you're already an experienced SUP rider or whether you think it's a sport you might want to take up, head to PUPS on SUPS for more information and to possibly sign up to a new cool club!

PUPS on SUPS is sponsored by EZYDOG and the Animal Welfare League Queensland , a charity founded on the Gold Coast in 1959 with the core mission of rehoming abandoned and surrendered companion animals. Across the four rehoming centres in South East Queensland, AWLQLD cares for up to 17,500 animals each year, with a zero euthanasia policy on all healthy, treatable, and sociable animals; giving them the best possible chance of finding a furever home and of course, having a second chance at life. All proceeds from the day are being donated to this amazing animal charity - who said you couldn't have fun and make a meaningful contribution back to society?



There is a small entry fee for those wanting to get in on this unique and fun event, in an effort to raise vital funds for the Animal Welfare League Queensland. Get in early and save!
