A Brief History of Markets
There is an historical significance to markets. Before shopping centres, (and well before online shopping!) the marketplace was where traders would introduce their wares to the world. Traders would gather the foods and treasures they had made and take them to markets to showcase to their neighbours. The market was a place of cultural learning and discovery. BrisStyle continues this tradition, selectively inviting artisans who exhibit their range of wears, artistic knowledge and authenticity that they hold precious to the market as a cultural institution.
