Wallet is looking a bit bare but not quite at the level of $2 steak night at the pub? Perhaps you need to impress someone on a budget and cheap tacos just won't cut it? Never fear. There's a classy meal deal for every day of the week around Brisbane:
Monday
Mac'n'Cheese Mondays @ South Side Diner (Southbank)
Two for one mac'n'cheeses at South Side Diner might not be good for the waistline but they're good for the budget at only $15! Order them with some of the Diner's enormous Buffalo wings.
Paella Mondays @ Peasant (Paddington)
Spice up your Monday with Paella for two at Peasant for $20. Add a jug of Sangria for another $20 and really get things going.
Magnum Mondays @ Anise (New Farm)
Four fabulous courses for $45. That works out to $11.25 a course. Need I say more?
Tuesday
Tapas & Tequila Tuesday @ Canvas (Woolloongabba)
Canvas knows how to do cheap Tuesday properly with a tapas platter and a Margarita for $20pp. This one you have to share as there's a two person minimum.
Wednesday
Wednesday Rum & Rent Party @ Next Door Kitchen & Bar (Southbank)
Hump deals come with swinging tunes at Next Door: get two share plates, wings and a rum cocktail jug for $50.
All you can eat Sushi @ Zuri (Fortitude Valley)
It's debatable whether you could eat $19 worth of sushi in 90 minutes but Zuri gives you the chance to find out once and for all.
Parma Rama Wednesday @ The Moray Café (New Farm)
No pub parma here, you can get Brisbane's best (and possibly largest) chicken parma for only $15 at this cozy bistro.
Piggy in the Middle @ Pearl Cafe (Woolloongabba)
This one's definitely a winter warmer: whole roasted suckling pig with roasted spuds for only $25.
Thursday
Sliders & Ciders @ Laruche
Laruche like to get a head start on the weekend. Enjoy two sliders and two ciders for $16 and forget that it isn't Friday yet.

Friday
Fridays @
Cove Bar & Dining (Southbank)%%
Present your business card (if you don't have one you might need to find a friend who does) between 4-6pm on Fridays for complimentary appetisers.
Saturday
Cheap eats @ Eat Street Markets (Hamilton)
Not technically a meal deal but with the staggering array of small meals for $10 or less abounding at these foodie friendly markets you can feast for less.
Sunday
$1 Dumplings @ Brunswick Social (Fortitude Valley)
If you really are down to spare change, Brunswick Social is the perfect place to take it with $1 dumplings on a Sunday night.
Sunset Tapas @ Ole (Southbank)
Two signature tapas, two raciones AND a jug of sangria for the grand total of $55 sound like the perfect end to the weekend. Ole!
As you can see, there is simply no excuse for chowing down on a $2 chewy steak with soggy chips when deals like these abound.
