I've been to quite a few courses with Brisbane Writers Workshops over the years and have always come away energised, brimming with creative inspiration, and filled up with tips and tricks to improve my fiction and article writing goals.

Brisbane Writers Workshop have helped me to develop my writing ideas into stories, guided me through the drafting, plotting and character development stages and into self-editing too. After attending their courses, I have found my creative mojo flowing from my imagination through to my fingers and onto the page.

What if you're a beginner?

Brisbane Writers Workshop value writers at every stage of the journey, and it doesn't matter if you've never written a story. What matters is that you have the desire to write. Ideas are where stories are born. Your story ideas need to be nurtured and you will find the Brisbane Writers Workshop teachers and editors to be supportive and helpful to your writing development.

So don't be shy, come along to a class that suits your interest and where you would like to go with your writing. You'll be surrounded by a supportive group of people who love writing too.

What if you're a seasoned writer? What if you already have a book or two published, is there anything for you?

Brisbane Writers Workshop tailor their courses to the needs of the students. They meet you at your writing level and encourage you to continue to develop and grow as you write your next story. Also, it's great to come along and share what you have learned with other people who are developing their writing skills.
