Event:
Rides, food, shopping and entertainment for all the family

Brisbane SpringFest is a popular annual event by Brisbane Christian College with over 4,000 locals and showcases Salisbury's vibrant community spirit!

All students, parents, caregivers, teachers and the wider public are invited to Brisbane SpringFest on Saturday, 25th August 2018 for a fun-filled day of shopping, food and entertainment.

The festivities will kick off at 11am and entry is FREE for all!

This year's theme is 'Flying into Spring' - from helicopters to rockets and everything in between, come and join in the celebration of all things that fly!

Begin your day with some wonderful home-baked cakes and sweets alongside high-quality coffee before hitting the stalls! There will be over 80 stalls to peruse - you'll find a great selection of jewellery, candles, plants, sand art, Tupperware and so much more!

There will also be local business stalls and details on the Brisbane Christian College Aviation Academy - giving students the opportunity to learn how to fly and obtain their Recreational Pilots Licence while completing their senior years at school.

As well as a wide variety of demonstrations and activities from aviation partners, such as Basair, Australian Unmanned Systems Academy and Brisbane Helicopters.

Kids meanwhile can go on some of the awesome rides - there will be rides for the very little ones, right up to full grown adults - and don't miss the fun and excitement of sideshow alley!

Other highlights include interactive activities, such as art gallery, candle making, flight simulator, football shootout, helicopter on site, kite making, paper plane competition, petting zoo, roar inflatable soccer, robotics stall with drones, rocket craft, rocket society display, silent auction, space academy badge making and virtual reality goggles.

There are also two major prizes up for grabs this year! A raffle to win a thirty-minute helicopter flight to the Gold Coast and back and a free flight training lesson with Basair.

Throughout the day, there will be great festival food, including hamburgers, pizza and fairy floss to name a few. End your day with a bite to eat and head to the main stage entertainment area where you can kick back and relax and enjoy Brisbane Christian College acts.

There will be so much to see, do and explore at this year's Brisbane SpringFest 2018 - so grab your friends and family and come down from 11am on Saturday, 25th August 2018! It's going to be a truly memorable day for all.
