This year's Brisbane Serbian Festival is being held as part of Queensland Multicultural Week festivities in September.

It will showcase Serbian culture, values and traditions and is supported by the Queensland Government, Brisbane City Council and Blue Sky Coffee.

The festival is a one day cultural celebration and will be held on Sunday, September 1st, 2013 at Dutton Park State School Oval (112 Annerley Road, Dutton Park, Qld, 4102), which is located just 4 km south of the Brisbane CBD.

This family-friendly event will kick off at 11am and will feature a great line-up of entertainment, including traditional Serbian music and folkloric dancing, fun activities and rides for children.

There will be a range of traditional Serbian sweet and savoury delicacies to sample, including Ćevapi (grilled sausages), Krofne (doughnuts) and Palačinke (crepes). You can also try some Serbian beer.

Entry is free.
