It is school holiday time. What have you got planned?



Here are a few suggestions (from a Mum of 4) - in no particular order:

1. Deep Oceans Museum South Bank
Go on a journey to the deepest parts of our oceans, and meet some of the real-life creatures that we hear about in myths and legends. While you are here you can get hands on with all sorts of cool water activities.



Time: Daily 9:30am - 5pm

2. Charlotte's Web
Learn all about Wilbur the Pig, Fern, Templeton the Rat and Charlotte the Spider in their adventures with this charming stage performance.
Watch this E.B White classic come to live - a great show suitable for all ages.



Dates: 7 June - 2 August 2014
Location: Brisbane Arts Theatre, Petrie Terrace
Cost: $16 each (bargain)

3.Wind Tubes Children's Program
Get creative and build your very own flying machine! Then, test it, seeing it soar to the ceiling at the Ipswich Art Gallery.



Times: 10am - 5pm daily
Cost: Free!

4. Maleny Dairy Tours
Pack a picnic and get some fresh country air into your lungs. The Maleny Dairy Tours a great day out for the whole family. You can take a tour of the farm including patting the baby calves, see how hand-milking is done, heading through the factory and taste-testing some of the dairy goodness!



Tour times: Monday to Saturday at 10.30am and 2.30pm
Cost: $11 Per person (under 2 free)

5. FREE Family Games Night @ King George Square
Get your family and friends together and have fun over games of scrabble, chess or connect four. BYO games or join in with someone else. Large scale versions also available to play!



Time: Last Thursday of each month 5-9pm
Cost: Free!
Where: King George Square, Brisbane City

6. Enjoy a Lego-kind-of-day
This mini construction world is sure to delight. As it sounds, the Lego Educational Centre is based on hands on building experiences for kids (and adults).
