Bored with the idea of another fixed venue Christmas party? Brisbane Cruises offer the perfect opportunity to branch about a bit for your celebrations this year.

Brisbane Cruises have been operating since 1987 and are the longest running family company on Brisbane River. Needless to say, they know how to give their patrons a great time, and the holiday season is no exception.

The standard Christmas cruise package includes a 3.5 hours cruise, delicious buffet lunch or dinner, dessert and DJ entertainer. They run seven days a week and do a circuit of the river displaying the beautiful city lights and landscapes of Brisbane.

For families and the adventurous types looking for an alternative to the night time Christmas celebrations, the Tangalooma cruise offers a swim and snorkel for the kids and a chance to loung on the beach or boat for parents. A fully licensed bar is available all day and this cruise includes morning/afternoon tea, a BBQ lunch and a full day of adventure.

Stuck for Christmas day lunch ideas? There's even a cruise for that. Sit back and relax on a boat journey up the beautiful Brisbane River past the city to Southbank while feasting on a buffet of seafood, hot meals, gourmet salads and dessert. Drinks are also included (of course) and the options are beer, wine, champagne, juice and soft drinks.

If you are planning on celebrating Christmas with a little style this year, be sure to contact the friendly co-ordinators of Brisbane Cruises on (07) 3630 2666 who will be happy to make suitable arrangements.

The Christmas lunch was very disappointing. All the food was cold, the ham was ham from a packet. The food was disgraceful, best thing was the bread rolls. It was $130 per person, so over priced. I would never recommend anyone to take this cruise especially on Christmas day. It was not fun or special but upsetting due to the money we wasted.
