Expect Victorian wildflower extravaganza
Brisbane Ranges Wildflower Show

Want to be showered with flowers? Then don't miss out on Brisbane Ranges Wildflower Show on Sunday 13 October, or you'll have to wait another two years!

For one day only, Brisbane Ranges Wildflower Show will be on at Anakie Hall, Anakie.

Organised by Friends of Brisbane Ranges, come and treat your eyes to hundreds of Brisbane Ranges wildflowers on show; satisfy your shopping itch with beautiful indigenous plants, books and maps on sale; attend fantastic free workshops; set your eyes on amazing photographs of local wildflowers and other startling things as well as local school art exhibits; experience the fantastic involvement by the contributors; and be inspired by the Water Watch interactive presentation with Corangamite Catchment Management Authority.

What's more, be chauffeured around the Brisbane Ranges National Park by registering in their legendary bus tours. The only catch is that you have to book early because there are very limited spots. Tours were booked out three weeks in advance in their last show so don't miss out. You won't regret it as there will be magnificent wildflowers in the Brisbane Ranges National Park. If you think you'll be stuck on the bus, then think again, because you'll have plenty of chances to get off the bus and examine the beautiful 613 native plants in the park. Moreover, you'll be indulged with historical buildings going back the gold rush period throughout the brilliant Steiglitz Historic Park. After that, the absolutely free one-hour workshop at Anakie Hall will give you the option to find out the keys in spotting native orchids and peas. Book now to avoid disappointment.

When you're hungry and thirsty, satisfy your stomach and quench your thirst with scrumptious food and drinks at awesome value with profits going to a fabulous cause.

It's no wonder this show has drawn in crowds from all over the place with people travelling from Frankston, Eltham, down the coast on top of the huge number of locals coming to witness the treasure trove of wild flowers springing to life. So grab your family and friends for a wonderful day out and don't miss out on this brilliant show!
