The Brisbane Pride Festival is not just about Fair Day. You'll find a list of events here, all in September. Some of the highlights includes the Pride Tea Dance, a free event with food, drinks, tea, coffee, music and entertainment with DJ Galleon on Sun 18 Sep at Teneriffe. Disability access is available at this event, and the tea dance will be screened live on Facebook. It's an afternoon of dancing and tea, connecting and chilling out in the afternoon from 11am to 4pm.
Mini Pride Expo on 21 September in Fortitude Valley is a time to gather and celebrate the rainbow community. Games, stalls, food, and merch, you'll find it there. The Pride Rally and March is on Sat 24 Sep at Orleigh Park, so roll out the flags and banners and turn up loud and proud.
Dykes on Bikes Queensland's Brisbane Pride Ride is on Sat 24 Sep and will lead the Pride March to Musgrave Park, West End. Take note that pre-registration is required. The First Nations Brisbane Pride Rally and March is on Sat 24 Sep at Orleigh Park, and a call out is put out to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island LGBTIQ+ Sistergirl and Brotherboy mob, families, friends and allies to participate. It's time to let loose and play on 24 Sep 9pm at the Sportsman Hotel at 130 Leichhardt St, Spring Hill. Join in and celebrate 29 years of kinky hedonism at the Leather and Lace Play Party night.
