Daniel started digital photography in 2005, then toured the world over the next four years and made sure his trusty camera was always by his side. He honed his skills whilst travelling across five continents, 38 countries and through 86 cities.
The result was 'lots' of practice and a great appreciation for those who offer mentorship and guidance.
"We learn by example and by direct experience because there are real limits to the adequacy of verbal instruction." – Malcom Gladwell.
This has become the teaching philosophy of the djb Photography School; 'Everything we teach at the djb photography school is centred around connecting with you and giving you real results' says Daniel.
Held in small intimate groups of just 8 participants, these tours focus on helping novices becoming more familiar with their cameras in manual mode and are perfect for beginners, travellers & explorers.
The tours are facilitated by friendly djb photography mentors and showcase some of the city's best photographic hot spots.
Some of the upcoming Photography Walks include Brisbane Coastal Discovery; Brisbane City Lookout; Street Art & Laneways Walk; Brisbane Essentials; the Triple Walk Workshop & Night Walk Fundamentals.
To participate in a Photography Walk all you'll need is a camera and a good pair of walking shoes (tours run rain, hail or shine). A tripod is only required for the Night Walks and each tour lasts for 2 hours.
Prices start from just $69 and due to the limited group size, early bookings are highly recommended; click here to reserve your spot.
