Music by day, movies by night all to the back drop of the early onset of summer in Brisbane? Sounds perfect, doesn't it.

Well, Ben & Jerry's Open Air Cinemas is the perfect way to start the summer with a great mix of film classics and recent release blockbusters.

Played on a huge outdoor screen, lovers of cinema and music shouldn't miss this afternoon and evening of unique entertainment.

Of course, helping you to relax, is the perfectly made beverage from the licensed bar and the gourmet food catered throughout the evening.

Watch the sunset with the sounds of acoustic sets from talented local musicians as you wait for your outdoor cinematic experience to begin.



The opening night will be held this Sunday the 22nd of October and is set to go off with a bang.

Kids of '88 and Avalanche City will provide the music and great Aussie flick, The Sapphires is sure to entertain the crowds.

Entertainment will commence at 4.00pm on opening night andgrab a free Ben & Jerry's ice-cream.

An event for all ages, the Cultural Forecourt at South Bank will provide a great and memorable night.

Music and movies will be played from the 21st until the 25th of October and tickets are available from the Open Air Cinemas website.

All proceeds from ticket sales go straight to the OzHarvest, a charity that collects good quality, excess food that would usually be discarded and delivers it to other charities to provide sustenance for those less fortunate.

So, for a great night to help a great cause head down to SouthBank this Sunday the 22nd.
