Opening the Doors to Your City

Have you ever wanted to wander through some of Brisbane's most iconic and historic buildings to see what was behind their intriguing facades? Well, now you can! Brisbane Open House is returning in 2017 for its eighth year and visitors are invited to go behind the scenes of more than 100 buildings and spaces.

The program runs over 2 days between 7-8 October 2017. This year, the Brisbane City Hall Clock Tower, the Spring Hill Service Reservoir (including an art installation) and the Walter Taylor Bridge are just some of the sites taking part in the scheme. Sites are located within the inner city and the suburbs.

There is also a children's program, speaker series and photography competition as well as live music. Volunteers are also welcome to nominate and lend a hand.

Brisbane Open House is an initiative of the Brisbane City Council. Be sure to check out the full program of events at
