The op shops sit side by side and are filled with clothes, furniture, books and knick knacks all reasonably priced under the $10 mark. I found 2 summer dresses at a bargain price of $3.00 each. There were lots of 50% off reduced items, which were fabulous buys and I even found $1 shirts and tops. Everyone loves to find a bargain!
Just as I was leaving, I noticed another op shop directly across the road. The Endeavour. Its bright orange signage caught my eye so I decided to take the time to check it out. As I walked in, I noticed subtle differences. Someone was tending to this shop with a pretty good eye for detail and expertise.
I flicked through one of the racks and noticed labels such as Howard Showers, Cue, Country Road, Tokito, David Lawrence and Laura Ashely to name a few. Prices ranged between $15 - $30.There were several brands such as Gap, Bershka, Stradivarius as well as an impressive line of new and used denim jeans, skirts and jackets. I also found these new heels for a fraction of the price at around $15.00. A lot of clothes have been made in Hong Kong and still have the original high prices listed in HK Dollars which I found amusing.
This is one op shop that has definitely set itself apart from the others, so if you're looking for something a little smarter without the hefty price tag, check this place out (without going to Hong Kong).
