There's something exciting about heading out to eat under the stars. Filled with a wonderful atmosphere, the hustle and bustle of the streets and people, not to mention Asian influenced aromas, the Brisbane Night Noodle Markets returns to South Bank Parklands, South Bank's Cultural Forecourt, Brisbane from Wed 24 July to Sun 4 August 2019. Mon-Wed hours are from 5pm to 9pm, with Thu-Fri 5pm to 10pm and Sun from 4-9pm.

Returning favourites will include Hoy Pinoy, POKLOL, Gelato Messina, Teppanyaki Noodles, Shallot Thai, Bangkok Street Food, plus lots of new and exciting stallholders like new kids on the wok, Chu the Phat.

Alight with smoking, sizzling and searing sounds and scrumptious scents, it's so close you can almost taste it. Twelve days of Good Food bingeing is on the cards. Put on those elastic waisted pants and watch out waistline, here we come.

Gelato Messina will have custom creations to cool your palate. Alo Alo a Dulce de leche gelato, caramel shaved ice, caramel flan, dulce de leche, milk crumb, caramel syrup & evaporated milk. Evaporated and condensed milk does it for me. The Thrilla from Manila is a brown sugar and banana gelato wrapped in banana bread and filo pastry, deep fried and served with custard and chocolate peanut crumb. How good does that sound. The Filopieno is a condensed milk gelato with a fried pie crust, peach jellies mango salsa, mango chantilly and graham cracker crumb, while the Brazo De Messina is a pandan coconut gelato and condensed milk custard, sandwiched between shortbread crust and baked meringue. I give up! Take me to your Leader and put me in dessert heaven! Food coma here I come!
