The AFL 2012 season has begun and it has footy fans celebrating. With round one complete, supporters are gearing up for another big weekend of competition.

Round two begins with the traditional Easter weekend clash between the Brisbane Lions and Carlton Blues on Thursday night April 5. It's the Lions first home game of the season and on the back of their convincing round one win against the Melbourne Demons, it's sure to be an exciting game.

Whether you are a footy fanatic or just enjoy a game or two, it is the perfect way to head into the Easter long weekend.

The game will kick off at the Gabba at 7:40pm. Tickets are available at the gate or can be purchased through Ticketmaster or via the Lions website.

Prices start at $25.50 for adults and families including two adults and two juniors (6-14 years). Concession prices start at $17.50 and juniors at $8.00 per ticket.

Free public transport is available via train or bus to and from the game. Visit translink for timetables and service information.
