Find your dancing inspiration
Let your hair down, don your cocktail attire and prepare yourself for an evening of glittering entertainment and glamorous festivities. Lovers of Latin dance have the opportunity to experience a whirlwind weekend of fine dining, dancing and entertainment commencing with the Brisbane Latin Ball on the evening of Saturday the 6th of July. The showcase will flow on into the Sunday with more daytime workshops and fun. The entire event will be a fabulous opportunity to flaunt your Latin dance moves or perhaps pick up a few new ones.

Doors to the event open at 6pm, followed by a delicious three course meal soon after. From 8pm you will be treated to a captivating performance by Australia's celebrity magician, Christopher Wayne. Mid-way through the evening the intermission social dance will give you a chance to mingle with the crowd. Despite an impressive start, there is still a lot more in store for you. Later in the evening you'll witness a spectacular Latin dance showcase featuring performances by Brisbane dance schools and special guest artists.

These performances should leave you feeling excited about getting out on the dance floor and joining in the glitz and glamour. Don't worry, after a short awards ceremony at 11pm you will have the chance to dance the night away. The evening is set to be a dazzling affair, leaving you feeling both enthused and inspired. However, if you are looking for even more inspiration make sure you save some energy for Sunday. The morning offers a series of workshops to further hone your skills with some very talented dancers.

Workshop Wizardry

From 10am until 1pm you can practice the art of burlesque, bachata, samba, cha cha cha, zouk and salsa with these amazing dancers who will be there to help you improve your skill set. Once you have spent the morning working up an appetite you will be supplied with a bountiful barbeque lunch followed by a social dance. This will be a great opportunity to practice your newfound or newly improved talents. The entire weekend is sure to be a buzz from start to finish. If you love Latin dance or would just like to have a weekend of fantastic fun, this event is a must.

Event passes vary according to which activities you would like to attend. Ticket options at door prices after the 1st of July include the Full Night Gala Event Pass for $95, the Performer Pass for $95, the Full Event Pass for $135, the Workshop Pass for $85 or the Performer Pass plus dinner for $115. Details about exactly what each pass includes can be found on the website. Simply decide which activities you like the sound of and choose your pass accordingly. Regardless of what you decide you'll have an amazing time.
