Dust off your Green Thumbs
Spring has sprung, and all the green thumbs are cranking up their gardening skills. Many will visit the Brisbane International Garden Show to take part in four days of learning from experts from 6th to the 9th of October at Pine Rivers Park, Strathpine.

There is an impressive list of garden experts who will be in attendance during the Show, including many faces from television garden shows. Click here for details of the special guests.

Over 40 Nurseries will be represented selling a wide range of plants for the visitor to take home for their own gardens.

Children are catered for with a range of activities for them and children under the age of 15 are FREE if with an adult.

There is parking at the venue but many folk will find it easier to catch a train to Strathpine Station and meet with the free shuttle bus to the Show. Check here for details about the Shuttle Bus, and other travel information.

The organisers promise to showcase "the unique Queensland gardening style" with plenty of displays of landscaping for many styles of gardens. For more details check the website.

You can purchase tickets online here or pay as you enter the Show.

Refreshments will be available at the Show - and you can repurpose your used coffee cup and take home a new plant!
