Laugh, smile and giggle @ the 2017 Brisbane Comedy Festival
Get ready to giggle this February and March at the eighth annual Brisbane Comedy Festival. The 2017 festival which runs from Sunday 26 February – Tuesday 28 March 2017 features over 66 comedians across four weeks. The stellar line-up of National and International artists includes well-known funny folk Joel Creasey, Brisbane-born Matt Okine, crowd favourite Wil Anderson and so many more that it's simply laughable.
The festival kicks off with a rather plush Festival Gala at Main Auditorium of the Brisbane City Hall with tickets ranging from $54-60. Programmed events then move alongside the river to the Brisbane Powerhouse at New Farm.
The Festival's Artistic Director, Kris Stewart encourages us to "Don't hold back; join us for four weeks of side-splitting laughter, and remember what Steve Martin said: comedy is the art of making people laugh without making them puke."
