Fun For Free
My husband and I recently had an overnight in Brisbane. I found some fantastic things to do that we had never done before and they were all free.

The outside of the building is grand - I have always wanted to go inside. I found out that you can go inside and do a tour. To do the tour, you simply go to the website and book it online.

I mainly did this tour for my husband, however, I really enjoyed it. It was done in an interesting way, where you got to see things other people don't get to see, such as the Mayor's office.

The Clock Tower is the clock for the City Hall. The Clock Tower tours leave every 15 minutes and are free. You book when you get there - they are very popular so it is best to get here early.

The view from the top is great and the history behind it and seeing the mechanism is fantastic.

We found out when we were there, that if you go on a Tuesday there is a free, Mayor's Concert, complete with orchestra band. We saw lots of people, young and old, going in and we would have too, had we not already booked our city hall tour. We will go to the concert next time.
