Calling all youth between the ages of 10 and 17. If you're looking for an outdoor experience in the September school holidays, check out Brisbane City Council's Chill Out sailing event held on the stunning Manly Esplanade.
Over the course of four hours, you'll learn the basic skills of sailing and meet some new mates to hang out with in the holidays. Don't worry if the change in your school pockets is running low because this Chill Out event will cost you only $7.50.
Along with your enthusiasm, slap on some comfortable clothing, a hat, covered shoes (sneakers are a good idea) and load a backpack with necessities like sunscreen and a water bottle. You're bound to get wet while learning the basics of sailing so don't forget to bring a change of clothes, some dry shoes and a towel.
