See the City Centre shine bright for Xmas
Brisbane City Hall will provide the backdrop for the massive FREE lighting show from 9 to 24 December as well as hosting the city's tallest Christmas Tree this festive season.

The historic, sandstone columned building of Brisbane City Hall will light up with a colourful lights display show featuring Santa, Rudolph and the rest of the reindeer, which will sparkle every 15 minutes from 7.30pm to midnight daily.

Fully titled "The Lot by Golden Casket City Lights", the show features a visual and sound display has been narrated by Cate Campbell, a Brisbane local and The Order of Australia recipient and Olympic Swimmer,

The centrepiece of the Square at Christmas time is of course the famous Christmas Tree which will be officially lit by the Lord Mayor of Brisbane, Adrian Shrinner on 25 November from 6.30pm to 7.15pm.

The towering 22 metre tree will be adorned with decorations to oversee the city during the festive season and stand proudly in the centre of the square for all to see. While you are in the square, perhaps take in some of the other features, including the famous Shingle Inn tea house within City Hall itself or take the lift to the top of the Hall's bell tower.

The Christmas decorations in the mall are Soo boring and every year the same.
It doesn't feel like Christmas at all in the city.
