Are you looking for ideas to entertain your children these school holidays? Brisbane City is bursting with activities, events and overall adventure.

Inflatable Factory Southside
9:00am-4:00pm daily, 20 September-3 October, Mt Gravatt Showgrounds

Visit Brisbane's largest temporary inflatable park. Family members of all ages can enjoy inflatable castles, obstacles and slides.

The cost for a two-hour session is $19 ages 5 years and older and $9 for ages 4 years and under. No session times or bookings are required. Tickets can be purchased at the gate or online.



Brisbricks LEGO Fan Expo
2-4 October, Sleeman Sports Complex

LEGO enthusiasts will have the opportunity to see creations from some of Queensland's most passionate LEGO builders. Due to current restrictions, there will not be any play tables or interactive displays. Limited retailers and food/drinks will also be in attendance.

The cost for a 90-minute session is $14 adult, $7 child, $39.50 family. Tickets must be purchased online.



IMB Institute of Light
3-25 September, BOQ Festival Garden, Southbank

Stroll through the rainforest and discover a mysterious game of secrets and spectacle. This installation is part of the annual Brisbane Festival.

Free entry, bookings are not required. Visit the site for additional child-friendly experiences.



Kids Fun Day
9:00am-3:00pm, 28 September, Beenleigh Historical Village & Museum

Learn about life in the Colonial Days at this beloved historic venue . There will also be a range of children's activities including pony rides, jumping castle and animal farm.

Entry is $6 per person, tickets available at the gate or online.



Kidchella
10:00am-2:00pm, 20-26 September, Westfield Carindale

Enjoy a line-up of festival-inspired activities including flower crown and dream catcher making, silent disco, hip-hop workshops and festival make-overs!

Babushka: Right to Party**
10:00 am and 1:00 pm, 22 September, Brisbane City Hall

Award-winning group Babushka presents a punk-rocking celebration of musical groundbreakers and game-changers over the past 50 years.

Suitable for children over the age of 5 years. This performance is free of charge, please book online to secure tickets.

GC Slam Basketball Workshops**
21 September-1 October, Westfield Garden City

Bounce into the GC Slam basketball court to learn footwork, passing & shooting skills and much more.

Suitable for ages 6 years and older. Cost is $5 per person, including a GC Slam basketball key ring. Bookings are required via the Westfield Plus App.



LEGO Robotics Workshop
10 am and 12 pm sessions, 30 September, Cross River Rail Experience Centre

Children will collaborate with their peers to design and develop a miniature LEGO dump truck. They will then program a robot to pick up loose bricks and deliver them to the awaiting dump truck.

This workshop is suitable for children 8-16 years of age. Cost is $10 per child, bookings essential.
