To celebrate the exciting move to the Ahepa Hall in the West End, organisers are hosting their first market event this Sunday 9th August 2015. The market will then be held on the second Sunday of each month.
Located on Boundary Street, Ahepa Hall can be accessed from the small arcade between Shay's Shoe Store and Leo Tsimpikas Realty.
The market will kick off at 9am, and entry is FREE. All are welcome to come along and discover this truly authentic hand-made market, which proudly supports talented Australian makers, creators and designers.
Discover an eclectic array of fashion garments and accessories, millinery, textile art, jewellery, ceramics, leather goods, gourmet baskets, wood art, paper craft and children's toys, all hand crafted by independent and emerging crafters. There will also be a henna artist onsite!
Come along and meet the passionate 'makers' in person! It's a great opportunity to spoil yourself or make a loved one very happy with a unique gift, whilst supporting local artists. Scrumptious savoury and sweet Greek delicacies will also be available to enjoy during the morning and afternoon.
Brisbane Artisan Markets is family-friendly with convenient public transport options located nearby. On-street parking is also available on Boundary Street and surrounding streets, and many local cafes and restaurants are open from breakfast onwards.
Make Sunday a day out by combining your visit to Brisbane Artisan Markets with Boundary Street Markets and/or the Museum/Southbank precinct.
