The 2 events bring thousands of people to the area in a wonderful mix of art and sport.
The life saving club started the Sculptures competition/exhibition in 2008 and received 34 entries. In 2013 there were more than 100 entries and the event just continues to grow in popularity - both with the artists and the public.
Outdoor sculptures will be on display along The Sculptures Walk on the Esplanade and in Bindarra Reserve. Indoor sculptures will be inside the Brighton Surf Lifesaving Club. The entire event is free.
The club will be open to public from Wednesday 22nd January to Sunday 2nd 2014 from 10am daily. The outdoor sculptures are viewable 24 hours a day between the 22nd January and 2nd February.
The artworks can be purchased, 30% of the proceeds will go back to the Brighton Surf Life Saving Club.
A judging panel will award more than $20,000 in prizes to the winners, including a People's Choice. So get down to Brighton and vote for your favourite!
