Brighton is a wonderful, quaint seaside town. It has wonderful little boutiques and souvenir shops and great cafe and restaurants.

Brighton is situated between Glenelg and Seacliff. Brighton has wonderful views of the sea and thevhills and it is steeped in history. There is an arch of remembrance right in front of the Brighton Jetty. When you turn around from this monument you can see all the boutiques, shops and Art Deco cafes. Splashes of colour against the blue blue backdrop.

One cafe in particular sticks out in my mind is the "A Cafe etc,"

This place is thriving because of it fresh new menu and its delicious home made deserts. Paintings and frescoes of Marilyn Monroe are tastefully decorated throughout the cafe and the table and chairs are comfortable to sit in. The lemon poppy seed cake is the best in Adelaide I have tasted so far. I will be going back for more.

As I sat outside drinking my coffee with my friends I noticed that in Brighton there is a real sense of community here. People smiled and waved to each other in the autumnal sun and this makes the experience of visiting Brighton even more wholesome, not just the food!

So having enjoyed the whole experience of Brighton, my friends and I agreed it is a great place to go and sit and eat with friends, so be sure to take time to visit this little gem beside the sea shore.
